Learn About the Opportunity

LandINSight is an Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) initiative designed to explore innovative ways for maximizing the potential of airport land for aviation- and non-aviation-related activities. Its outcome is ultimately expected to facilitate positive economic impacts on the community while generating additional revenue for IAA.

The project will encompass more than short-term growth, however. The end result will be a long-term plan to guide future land use and development within IAA’s airport system for several decades.

The LandINSight project will focus on these objectives:

  • Making a positive contribution to employment, development, urban revitalization, and other public needs
  • Providing maximum economic return to both IAA and local communities
  • Partnering with local businesses, civic organizations, elected officials, educational institutions, and others to create on- and off-airport opportunities
  • Meeting current and future needs and requirements to ensure smart aviation growth in Central Indiana
